The backyard of my parents' house (especially on a warm summer night) has always been a place I love to be. Whether we're grilling and enjoying a nice meal or simply relaxing while reading a good book, I am always reminded of the memories I have from growing up and the warmth, love and happiness I associate it with.

To eliminate inequalities in the public education system. Each child deserves the right to a quality education and to receive the support, nurturing and guidance to succeed.

I began my career interning for the American Heart Association. Specifically I worked on the development/fundraising side on a team planning the annual Heart & Stroke Gala. For the next 2.5-3 years I worked in advertising as a media planner before making the decision to come back into the non-profit sector with the Bush Foundation where I am a member of the Communication & Engagement team.
