Executive Director

Describe a place for which you feel a fondness or connection:

There are many islands throughout the Northwoods - including Long Island on Burntside Lake, Wolf Island on Lake Vermilion, and the Apostle Islands. The northern tip of Grand Island in Lake Superior off the Upper Peninsula ranks particularly high. The mile-long sand beach that stretches into Lake Superior is only accessible by bike, hike or boat and ranks as one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches in the world!

What change do you passionately want to happen?:

I want to see a re-prioritization of our values where the improvement of our lives is directly connected to the relationships we have in our communities and not driven by the noise from the disconnected multi-national media. Particularly - I want our teachers and principals to be treated as the heroes and our public lands to be treated as sacred.
