Recommendations for Combating Child Sexual Exploitation in Minnesota
This report, conducted for the Women's Foundation of Minnesota by five Masters of Public Policy students at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs, scans media presentation of sexually exploited girls in Minnesota; outlines current state policy; and funding streams available. It also reviews laws in other states and investigates a sample set of organizations providing services to girls who have been sexually exploited in Minnesota and across the country, identifying promising practices in this field. This report was presented on December 2011 by MPP Candidates: Julie Gardner, Erica Heikel, Kristen James, Michelle Karon, and Peter Strohmeier.
