Open Space Listening Session in Morris, Minnesota
Open Space Listening Session in Morris, Minnesota

A public "listening session" is being organized on Tuesday, February 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. for local area residents to gather and discuss how to improve the quality of life in the Stevens County region. The session will take the form of an "open space" meeting where those that show up set the agenda and lead the discussion.
Event organizers are hoping that those participating in the Pride of the Prairie Local Foods Meal will go up to the WROC after eating at the Dining Services building at the UMM Campus to take part in the Open Space meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. Otherwise a free meal (catered by Bello's of Morris) will be served at 5 p.m. at WROC in advance of the Listening Session.
Pre-registration is required for the Listening Session by calling 1-877-269-2873 or emailing: cure@cureriver.org. by Feb. 18th.
The Morris Listening Session is being co-sponsored by the Center for Small Towns and Clean up the River Environment (CURE) in collaboration with InCommons - a community-based initiative that connects Minnesotans – face-to-face and online – so they can find and share tools, knowledge and resources to solve problems.
