Immigrant farmers, too, are trying to scale up
Immigrant farmers have been a presence in Minnesota farmers markets for many years, but there have been barriers to them moving into other parts of the local food scene, like supplying restaurants and grocery stores. Now a number of farmers are pushing into those areas and at least two programs have been established to help. Follow the link to an MPR News story on the phenomenon.
