Say you’ve got four years to make the world a better place. What would you do?
Thanks to Jake Voit, InCommons Manager, for pointing me to a new initiative and cause called “Four Years. Go.” It’s based on the very real fact that our actions and choices over the next four years will impact the world for the next 1,000 years. On the surface, that proposition sounds a little like presidential campaign rhetoric, doesn’t it? But dig deeper, and ask yourself:
• What happens if we don’t commit to more sustainable energy sources in the next four years?
For several years, I’ve been proud to be attend and sponsor the national LOHAS Forum, an annual gathering in Boulder, Colorado, featuring business and organization leaders and other change agents connecting to spark conversation for creating effective business and personal change. I’m happy to report a regional version of this incredible event is coming to town May 12.
Like InCommons, the inspiration of LOHAS Forum is that positive change can best be realized when individuals representing multiple ideas and experiences join to collaborate.
