Shoshana Gurian-Sherman joined the foundation in October 2011 as one of two Public Allies for the InCommons initiative. Prior to joining the foundation, Shoshana graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in cultural anthropology. She has worked on and studied a range of issues, with focuses on sustainable agriculture, community gardening, immigration and social justice work. Raised in Washington DC, she considers herself happy to be a thriving transplant to the Twin Cities.
